Discover all the great places to photograph Aoraki Mount Cook while at the same time learning lots of new and classic camera craft skills. This Photo Safari will help you to make photographs that ‘feel’ like you felt when you were there. Its about making images that communicate not just a record shot.

5 HOURS OF PHOTOGRAPHY GUIDING + TUITION. $380.00 PER PERSON

OR TAKE UP TO FOUR PHOTOGRAPHERS FOR NZ$1020.00

YOUR GUIDES ARE AWARD WINNING PHOTOGRAPHERS MIKE LANGFORD OR JACKIE RANKEN.

Both are Grand Masters of the NZIPP and AIPP Photography Institutes.

On this Photo Safari we travel from Twizel (In the Mackenzie Basin, Canterbury) through the Tasman Valley (Mount Cook National park) and back to Twizel.

Your tutors Mike Langford or Jackie Ranken will help you learn how to take your camera off automatic and fully utilise your camera in a creative and experimental way.

The day is spent photographing in places suited to the weather conditions. The walk to the view of the Tasman Glacier is an option from March through to December. Our preference is to take you away from the crowds (Dec-Feb) and teach you to make photographs of subjects that others would not think of making.

Canon EOS 80D or EOSR cameras available for use if you choose (at no extra cost).

Departure times can be customised to suit your photography goals.

Pickup and drop back to your accommodation.
